Ulster Carpets will be showcasing their custom carpets and rugs for the hospitality industry at the CIUK Dublin Open.
Designed and manufactured in Co Armagh, the family-owned company recently announced further expansion plans to meet growing demand.
Construction work is currently underway at their global headquarters to double the size of their recently completed High Speed Weaving Building. When all the new looms are operational in April 2025, Ulster will have the highest Axminster capacity in their history.
Joyce McIvor, Contract Sales Director UK & Ireland, said the significant investment will be a boost to the hospitality sector in Ireland.
“We have a proven track record of delivering for our customers right across Ireland and this new investment in our manufacturing facilities in County Armagh will enhance this further,” she explained. “Interior designers, specifiers and hotel owners in Ireland have access to a world-class design team and state-of-the-art manufacturing on their doorstep to help them create luxury carpets for their property.”
The new loom capacity reflects Ulster’s global success in creating luxury carpets and rugs for the world’s leading hotels, cruise ships and casinos. A major component in this success is the company’s design and colour capabilities coupled with innovative weaving technology – all of which is completed in Co Armagh.
With an open-door policy, designers have direct access to Ulster’s expert team to create custom designs to match your project’s needs.
For projects that don’t require a custom design, Ulster also offer a comprehensive Stock Collection suitable for Hospitality projects of all sizes.
